York Refrigeration Oil

York Refrigeration Oils are a range of specialised compressor refrigeration oils manufactured by York for use in York compressors. These oils are manufactured under licence from the York factory to ensure compatibility with and optimise the performance of York compressors. The York Refrigeration Oil range of lubricants reliably supports a wide variety of refrigeration systems through their excellent lubricating properties, broad compatibility and outstanding thermal stability.

Main Types of York Refrigeration Oil:

Mineral Oil (MO):
Characteristics: Refined from petroleum, low cost.
Scope of application: Usually used with conventional refrigerants such as R22. Due to its chemical properties, it is not suitable for use with HFC type environmental refrigerants (e.g. R404A, R134a).

Alkylbenzene Lubricant (AB):
Characteristics: Synthetic oil with good solubility and stability, suitable for a wide range of refrigerants.
Application: Widely used with HCFC refrigerants (e.g. R22) as well as some HFC refrigerants.

Polyester Oil (POE):
Characteristics: Synthetic oil with excellent solubility and hygroscopicity, able to dissolve water and other contaminants very well.
Scope of application: Mainly used with HFC type environmental protection refrigerants (such as R404A, R134a, R507). Due to its strong moisture absorption, special attention should be paid to moisture protection when storing and using.

Polyolefin oil (Polyalkylene Glycol, PAG):
Characteristics: Synthetic oil with good thermal and chemical stability, suitable for high temperature environment.
Scope of application: Mainly used in electric vehicle air-conditioning systems and some specific HFC refrigerant applications.

1. York Mineral Oil (MO):

Typical models: York 3GS, York 4GS
Refrigerant: R22
Application Scenario: Suitable for traditional HCFC refrigeration systems, such as supermarket freezers, convenience store cold storage equipment, etc.

2. York Alkylbenzene Oil (AB):

Typical model: York AB-32
Refrigerant: R22, R134a
Application Scenario: Suitable for systems requiring high solubility, such as food processing, cold chain logistics, etc.

3. York Polyester Oil (POE):

Typical model: York ECO-22CC, York ECO-46CC
Applicable refrigerants: R404A, R134a, R507
